Join us in Happy Valley - Goose Bay for a special stop along Give Hope Wings, a multi-aircraft flying expedition across Canada’s East Coast celebrating Hope Air’s 40th anniversary. This unique journey brings together pilots and supporters to connect with patient communities and highlight the critical role Hope Air plays in providing access to healthcare for Canadians living in rural and remote regions. As part of this celebration, pilots participating in the expedition will fly into Happy Valley - Goose Bay, where we will host a community meet-and-greet. The community is invited to join the pilots, hear powerful stories from Hope Air patients, and get an up-close look at the aircraft. This event is an opportunity to celebrate the strength of the community, recognize the impact of Hope Air over the past 40 years, and bring together patients, supporters, government representatives, and aviation enthusiasts for a meaningful afternoon. We require event volunteers to assist with parking attendant, handing out ice-cream bars, directing people to washrooms, set up and tear down of tables & chairs. Volunteers would need to be there at 10:30AM for briefing/to help set up.Event is on Monday August 10, 2026 from 11am-2pm
