Burry Heights Camp & Retreat Centre is looking for a volunteer to join our Board of Directors in a finance-focused role.We’re looking for someone with experience or knowledge in bookkeeping, accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, or general financial management who can help support the financial oversight of our organization.This is a great opportunity to contribute your skills to a local organization that provides meaningful camp and retreat experiences to our community.

Depending on your location, there may also be opportunities to support in-person programs and events.We believe many senior-related social issues, including social isolation and the generation gap, can be addressed by encouraging meaningful engagement between youth and seniors. Together, we can create stronger, more connected communities.Whether you have a few hours to give or want to become a regular volunteer, we would love to have you on our team. We are currently looking for volunteers to help in all areas of our program, and we would love to welcome some new faces to our team!That said, we are in urgent need of: Morning barn volunteers – morning grain, blanketing horses, turnout, mucking stalls & sweeping, cleaning tack/equipment and other general barn chores Horse leaders – working directly with our horses during programs and supporting ridersIf you’ve ever thought about getting involved, now is the perfect time.
