Help build meaningful connections between generations, from wherever you are.Love Caravan is a Vancouver-based nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness of the importance of intergenerational connection and fostering a culture where younger generations respect, support, and care for seniors.Many of our volunteer opportunities can be completed remotely, allowing volunteers across Canada to make a meaningful impact from home. Depending on your location, there may also be opportunities to support in-person programs and events.We believe many senior-related social issues, including social isolation and the generation gap, can be addressed by encouraging meaningful engagement between youth and seniors. Together, we can create stronger, more connected communities.Whether you have a few hours to give or want to become a regular volunteer, we would love to have you on our team. We are currently looking for volunteers to help in all areas of our program, and we would love to welcome some new faces to our team!That said, we are in urgent need of: Morning barn volunteers – morning grain, blanketing horses, turnout, mucking stalls & sweeping, cleaning tack/equipment and other general barn chores Horse leaders – working directly with our horses during programs and supporting ridersIf you’ve ever thought about getting involved, now is the perfect time. Your time and support truly make a difference—not only for our horses, but for the riders and families we serve every day.No experience? No problem!
