The CWGC is a global organization, caring for war graves at 23,000 locations in more than 150 countries and territories. We commemorate almost 1.7 million individuals, ensuring that all the Commonwealth men and women who died during both world wars are commemorated in a manner befitting their sacrifice. In Canada, we have launched a National Volunteer Program and we are currently recruiting in Newfoundland & Labrador. The program enables those with an interest in our work to act as our eyes in their local area. Volunteers will visit their local cemeteries and gather information about the condition of CWGC war graves. Training will be provided on all aspects of the work required including how to safely clean war graves. Volunteers will play a vital role in helping us to achieve our mandate to maintain CWGC war graves in perpetuity. Your help will make a real difference to our work commemorating the service men and women who died during the First and Second World Wars and are buried in Newfoundland & Labrador. With your help we hope to keep alive the stories of the men and women whom we commemorate. Please note: For this volunteer position, you will need to have a smartphone with data and access to a vehicle. Equally important, the Corner Brook Indian Band advocates for all the rights and privileges confirmed to the Indians of the colony of Newfoundland by King George III in the Royal Proclamation of October 7, 1763.

We are a volunteer driven organization that fundraises to find cures for Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. We provide patient programs, education sessions and fundraising opportunities throughout the year.

Earth Rangers is an environmental non-profit that empowers youth to take action for the environment. Our ER Teens program offers an opportunity for young Canadians aged 13-18 to take initiative for environmental causes they care about, such as wildlife conservation, climate change, sustainability, and more. By working remotely with staff, teens volunteer their time to complete an eco-action project of their choice; at home, at school, in their community, or online. Our flexible program ensures that teens can work at their own pace, while having the support and resources they need to make a positive impact.

The ECMA is a regional collaboration of people in the music industry of Atlantic Canada that fosters, develops and celebrates East Coast music and its artists locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. The ECMA annually produces the East Coast Music Awards: Festival & Conference, a five-day, musical celebration showcasing and recognizing the best of East Coast artists and music. The ultimate goal of this event is to be the premiere music event for the public and Canadian music industry - and the conference of choice for artists and industry professionals.
