A group of dog loving residents organizing to address the need for safe and secure area for dogs to run and play in Botwood, NL.  The dog park, once open to the public, will provide a safe area, dawn until dusk, for residents and their furry friends. Everyone benefits, dog owners and the broader community will feel more secure with dogs being able to run and play in a fenced in area.

The Canada CyberSTEAM Challenge (C3) is a national online competition aimed to encourage students in grades six through twelve to develop innovative solutions to real-world problems involving science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. C3 aims to provide youth from rural or underprivileged communities with academic enrichment opportunities that they would not otherwise have access to.

The ECMA is a regional collaboration of people in the music industry of Atlantic Canada that fosters, develops and celebrates East Coast music and its artists locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. The Heather Cutler Foundation is a Canadian charity dedicated to improving survival and quality of life for people affected by pancreatic cancer. The Foundation works to address critical gaps in awareness, healthcare policy, and patient support related to pancreatic cancer. Our work focuses on education initiatives, policy research, patient advocacy, and community engagement to help drive meaningful change in the pancreatic cancer landscape in Canada. Through collaborations with healthcare professionals, researchers, policymakers, and volunteers, the Foundation develops educational resources, supports public awareness efforts, and contributes to policy conversations aimed at improving outcomes for patients and families. Volunteers play an important role in supporting our initiatives. Opportunities may include research support, health education initiatives, communications and media work, data analysis, event support, and community outreach. The Foundation welcomes individuals who are passionate about contributing their skills and time to support pancreatic cancer awareness, research, and patient support initiatives.
