À propos de l'organisation

At AMAL Unite & Empower, we believe diversity drives success. Skilled newcomers bring innovation, fresh perspectives, and valuable expertise that strengthen our economy and enrich our communities. We empower newcomers by helping them integrate into the community, build meaningful connections in Newfoundland and Labrador, and access the tools, resources, and support they need to succeed.

What began as TaskforceNL during the COVID-19 pandemic has grown into a vital support network, thanks to the generous support of the Northpine Foundation and the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Department of Immigration, Population Growth & Skills. With this support, we have expanded our reach, empowering employers with the guidance and resources to attract, hire, and retain skilled talent—creating opportunities for everyone to thrive.

Our Mission

To create a diverse, inclusive, and thriving workforce in Newfoundland and Labrador by providing free, tailored support services to:

- newcomers
- employers and recruiters
- facilitating seamless integration into the local workforce.
